The Organised Useful Rehabilitation Service (OURS) (www.ruharomissionhospital.org/OURS) who are based in Mbarara (about 150 miles away) came to Kisoro to collaborate with PV to provide medical assessment, treatment, physio and eye assessment for over 125 children.
The compassion and love that the OURS team showed to each and every single child was incredible. The team worked non-stop all day and much to our amazement they were able to asses every child. For some, advice and support was given, many were shown physio techniques which they can now do themselves, and some will have further treatment and follow up at a later date.
