Offering hope and a future to vulnerable babies
"Founded by the Church of Uganda, the Potter's Village is run by Christians on an inter-denominational basis"
Nov 2011 - this is well underway, with the main building almost completed.

Potter's village in 2010: note the distinctive roofs.
At present the village comprises:
Architectural features are in keeping with Ugandan culture, using circular buildings and beautiful wrought iron features. Visiting volunteers have painted many walls beautifully.

The Medical Centre is
now fully equipped thanks to generous donations. It has an Incubator and Oxygen concentrator which are crucial for the premature babies and those with respiratory difficulties. Qualified staff to run this unit are urgently needed.
The Centre has also been fitted with three solar panels ensuring a continuous supply of hot water and will be a big saving to electric bills. The panels are the envy of the district.
Benon continues to oversee the building work with dedication, skill, and to high standards.
