Since Potter’s Village opened its doors to the first baby in 2007, it has worked with The Potter's Village Trust in the UK who provided funding and support for the project in Kisoro during its first few years.

As the project has now become an established part of the community and is overseen by a Uganda Board of Governors, the UK Trust has developed into a purely funding arm renamed in 2017 the Friends of Potter’s Village (FoPV).

The Trustees meet regularly in order to provide the support required to the project in Kisoro.  Over the years the Trustees have always managed to meet the financial needs of the project, through careful stewardship and a proactive approach to fundraising. There are many churches and organisations that support the work in Kisoro and the Trust insures that administration all runs smoothly.

FoPV employ a part-time administrator and fundraiser to help with these tasks.
